The Story

Movie’s evolution from traditional film to digital formats, spotlighting early aspect ratios(1:33) and preservation efforts. By educating visitors on the unique artistry and cultural importance of vintage films, it aims to foster appreciation for cinema's heritage and the timeless appeal of classic filmmaking.

To align our understanding of "classic movies," I researched over 10 websites, extracted key elements, and used them to explore and refine the style mood board during the requirements meeting.

Key Visual Design

Successfully key visual design approved on the first review, demonstrating my ability to create impactful visuals that clearly communicate the message and align with the project’s goals.

Infographic Design

Iteration 1

Displaying data across all districts individually reduces interactivity. By organizing data for each zone, enrich the interactive experience and enable viewers to make intuitive comparisons by clicking on different zones.

Iteration 2

To enhance the data's visual clarity, increased the font size for theater numbers and removed Taiwan's map background.

Learning

In this project, I had a chance to lead an intern, and I learned how to guide her thinking process and help her develop her design approach.

Reflection

Working on a visually focused project was very enjoyable. Using the mood board to understand everyone’s impressions of "classic movies" helped the project launch smoothly. After completion, I received praise from project partners, stakeholders, and clients, giving me greater confidence and a strong sense of accomplishment in handling projects of this type.
